The trend of vaping is becoming increasingly popular among the younger generation. This is also shown by the study (Eurobarometer) measuring the smoking habits of the European Union member states, as in Hungary, the number of people under 18 trying e-cigarettes has increased by 11 percentage points since 2016.
The misconception that the use of e-cigarettes and vapes is safe also persists, and we often underestimate the extent of our own nicotine addiction and the potential risks of damage to lung tissue.
